Carlton Cottage weaves landscape through the architecture, creating a sequence of planted rooms between old and new. A layered matrix of native groundcovers, sculptural trees and seasonal planting brings softness and movement to the compact site, blurring the boundaries between house, garden and the surrounding neighbourhood.
